Another week of Fresh Finds is led off by SAHXL, who just released the unplugged version of his single ‘Negligent.’ SAHXL’s raw ability as a vocalist is unequivocally remarkable. His singing is both angelic and harmonious, and on ‘Negligent,’ this holds true. We’ve noticed an increase in the number of stripped-down, unplugged versions of records, and this song serves as evidence for why this trend is prevalent. With less production, there is significantly more emphasis placed on SAHXL’s voice, and his unfiltered talent shines bright. His flawless pitch and vocal range make this song a must-listen.
Next up is the new single from Sauce regular Chikoruss, who just dropped his new single ‘USC.’ The young successor to the R&B throne has delivered another smash hit, with super vibrant production and a flow reminiscent of the early 2000s. With a focus on quality, Chikoruss is building out a catalog with no weak points to this point. ‘USC’ is certainly a record to have on as spring turns to summer, and we’ll add it to our list of potential summer anthem contenders.
