New Music Friday with Sauce Music - July 26th, 2024

Written by Samuel Kaplan

This week, we kick off New Music Friday with a debut project from Bryant Barnes, titled Vanity. The young artist delivers an impressive and emotionally charged collection of songs that flow seamlessly together. The soothing melodies and

Barnes' angelic vocals create a poignant atmosphere as he navigates themes of heartbreak and moving on from past relationships. With this being his first longer-length release, Barnes demonstrates mature artistry and a high standard throughout Vanity. The EP maintains consistent quality from the first track to the last, a rarity among new artists. This project is a balm for anyone suffering from the end of a relationship, and we highly recommend listening to Vanity in its entirety.

Our next highlight is Nige's new single "Don’t Cry." We've talked about highly anticipated songs often on this platform, but this one truly stands out. A snippet of "Don’t Cry" surfaced over a year ago, captivating the internet. Now, we finally have the full track available on all major streaming platforms. "Don’t Cry" features divine vocals and showcases Nige’s remarkable range as a vocalist. The catchy hook and addictive feel of this song are sure to have listeners playing it on repeat. The wait was definitely worth it!

Our final feature of the week goes to a Sauce favorite, Kwe the Artist, who released two new singles, "Makem’ Sick" and "Luv That Sound." Kwe's sonic creativity and uniqueness shine through as both songs demonstrate his authenticity and versatility. With inviting production, the two tracks complement each other, showcasing the multitude of levels Kwe possesses as an artist. This duo of singles has been released in collaboration with prominent content curator Patrick Cc:, who has closely worked with Kwe on several records leading up to this release.
