New Music Friday with Sauce Music - March 8th, 2024

Written by Brandon Sauers

This week's New Music Friday finds is led by none other than Hans Williams and his debut EP More Than One Way Home. The Vermont native is an independent singer-songwriter who, at a young age, took inspiration from the likes of Al Green, Tracy Chapman, Steely Dan, and more. More recently, Hans Williams relocated to New Orleans which is where he now calls home.

More Than One Way Home is constructed of 5 songs in total; 3 new and 2 being prior releases. Hans Williams is able to captivate a unique range and power of emotions in his singing and songwriting; truly a gift only so many are blessed enough to have. My personal favorites from this EP are “Skin” and “No Wonder”. But, I can almost guarantee that you will not be skipping over any of the songs included on More Than One Way Home

To conclude this New Music Friday spotlight I would like to shine some light on a some more releases on our radar; specifically 2 singles and 2 collaborations. The first of those singles is by Sam MacPherson as he released “I Don’t Wanna See You Try”. Next, Alexander Stewart released “broken by you”. Moving onto the collaborative releases; our good friend, ill Nicky, teamed up with Yung Pinch to create their song “Hometown Famous”. And to round-out this week's New Music Friday finds, we have MC4D and zachy creating a unique combination of stutter house and folk house, titled “Away From You”.

As always, please be sure to show your support to each of these talented artists listed above in any way you deem fit.

You can find each of the releases mentioned above on our playlist below!
