New Music Friday with Sauce Music - September 20th 2024

Written by Samuel Kaplan

It’s a jam-packed New Music Friday, and we’re excited to bring you a special extended edition of this week’s Fresh Finds to celebrate. First up is the dynamic duo Henrik and Graham with their new single, “A Song for You.” The pair previously collaborated on the hit “Call My Name,” and their chemistry has only deepened with this latest release. It feels like a full joint project from these two is just around the corner.

Next, we have Kaylee Rose’s brand new single, “Two Things.” Rose showcases her impeccable vocal range and control on this track. Compared to her previous release, “Pick Her Up At 8,” “Two Things” has a slower tempo, allowing her vocal ability to truly shine. The song highlights her knack for delivering a poignant and emotionally powerful message.

Our third pick is a Sauce favorite: Hampton, with his new track “Gettin’ Gone.” Hampton’s cadence and the song’s well-crafted tempo and pacing make for an exceptional listen. Gaining traction on social media, this marks his second release of 2024 and continues to cement his upward trajectory.

Fourth, we have Josiah Queen with his new single, “A Life Worth Dying.” The title cleverly flips the common phrase “a life worth living,” and the song’s upbeat folk production is sure to hook you from the first note. While the surface-level sound has the makings of a big radio hit, the lyrics reveal a deeper message about belief and commitment to faith, offering a refreshing take in today’s popular music landscape.

Our final discovery is newcomer Blake Whiten, who just dropped his debut single, “Breakin’ My Heart.” His vocals are both powerful and tender, leaving a lasting impression from the first note. The maturity and poise he exhibits on this debut release are especially impressive.
