As someone who generally despises the way corporate America is set up, I can't help but like GET A JOB! by Jack Kays.
Above all, honesty is what reaches the forefront of the message on this track. I hear mockery and distaste somehow in the lyrics AND in the production, and it's a perfect depiction of the bad sides of a 9 to 5. Whether he's complaining about someone in a position of power taking their shortcomings out on others, or mentioning how the structure of a 9 to 5 can kill creativity, I'm here for it all.
Jack has came a long way from his initial releases like Morbid Mind and the Mixed Emotions EP as a whole, but I'm happy to see that his brutal honesty and candid commentary is set to stay.
